The challenge

Technical writing and changelog creation often lag behind actual code deployments, leading to outdated documentation, misaligned product teams, and high manual overhead. Developers dislike writing documentation, while project managers struggle to map technical commits to high-level Jira tickets. Capturing context across multiple isolated environments—OAuth-linked Jira spaces and Git repository histories—while maintaining data privacy, was a major challenge.

Our approach

We engineered a secure document-generation engine utilizing OAuth to safely access Jira and GitHub/GitLab repositories. The system automatically fetches Jira ticket context, meta-information, and corresponding commit logs. Using a fine-tuned LLM pipeline, it maps developer commits back to high-level tickets, generating human-readable release notes, developer guides, and structured API reference documents. Additionally, we integrated Stripe to manage subscription billing, usage limits, and secure recurring payments.
